worship & spiritual formation
I believe each person has the opportunity to live a spiritual life, deeply connected with God on a daily basis, and that worship in community is just one point of connection in our faith journey. The Trinity is active, alive, and moving in and through us every second. Through various spiritual practices like conversational prayer, journaling, and reading scripture, we can tap into that powerful source to draw closer to God and realize His work in our lives and the world around us.
Facilitating a worship experience is an extension of my soul, whether I’m singing, playing keys or speaking. My joy is multiplied when I see and hear everyone lifting their voices, embodying a posture of worship that feels authentic to their individual experience, and deepening their connection to God. There’s nothing like a quiet moment at the end of a song, hearing the congregation repeat that last tag with nothing but their voices filling the air!
I’ve also had the opportunity to facilitate sessions on spiritual practices either as stand-alone offerings or as part of a larger retreat.
